SONOMA COUNTY WINERIES WELCOME VISITORS THIS WINTER FOR A WEEKEND OF WINE TASTING
Wine Road Northern Sonoma County hosts its 19th annual
“Winter Wineland” event January 15-16
WHAT: Wine Road members are popping their corks for the “Winter Wineland” event, allowing visitors to discover unique wines and create their own tasting journey through iconic Sonoma County. Over the weekend of January 15 and 16, wine enthusiasts can wander through the striking landscape and picturesque towns of Northern Sonoma while meeting winemakers, tasting limited-production wines, and experiencing new releases and library wines. Tickets include tastings at all the participating wineries, including many that are not usually open to the public. In addition to wine tasting, many will also treat the palate with delectable food pairings.
WHO: Over 100 winery members of the Wine Road in Dry Creek, Russian River, and Alexander valleys in Northwest Sonoma County. A list of participating wineries is on the Wine Road website at www.wineroad.com.
