Guests Will Enjoy Food, Wine and Raffle Prizes All for a Good Cause
WHAT: Join Wine Road and member wineries at a fundraising event for the Redwood Empire Food Bank on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Ten member wineries including Meeker Vineyard, Peterson Winery and Russian River Vineyards will provide samples of wine throughout the evening while Healdsburg’s Costeaux French Bakery will offer guests small bites. The cost for the event is $20 at the door and all proceeds from the evening benefit the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Additional details on the meetup and fundraiser can be found
Wine Road is also offering a number of raffles and prizes throughout the evening including complimentary tickets for the first 50 guests to the 2012 Wine Road Barrel Tasting and copies of the newest edition of the “Tasting Along the Wine Road” cookbook for the next 50 guests to arrive.
Wine Road is also accepting donations of nonperishable food items.

Wine Road has raised over $150,000 for the Redwood Empire Food Bank. The Redwood Empire Food Bank isSonoma County’s largest hunger-relief organization which collects food from local, regional and national sources and distributes to 78,000 people in need every month in Sonoma County.
