For over half a century the Bacigalupi family has grown grapes on land just south of Healdsburg in Russian River Valley. In 2002, along with family member and winemaker Tyler Heck, they created a private label devoted to producing estate wines from their vineyards. The first names of John Bacigalupi and Tyler Heck were joined to create this label. The name John Tyler represents the union of two families who have been involved more than five decades in winemaking and grape-growing tradition in Sonoma County. Our wine tasting experiences which are always hosted by a family member are by appointment only.

Release Date: October 16th,2010 -direct from winery only. This cool climate Zinfandel features flavors of wild berry, leather, tobacco and pepper spice flavors. This wine has a wonderful balance of firm, yet supple tannins and acidity making it a fantastic food wine.
