Merry Edwards Winery

One of California’s first woman winemakers, Merry Edwards began her career 35 years ago. Her namesake brand was launched in 1997, and 10 years later, she and her husband, Ken Coopersmith, completed their dream winery in Sebastopol. Their growing portfolio of estate vineyards is indicative of their focus on winemaking from the ground up. These properties include Coopersmith, Cresta d’Oro, Flax, Georganne, Meredith Estate and Sanchietti. With exceptional Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast grapes, Merry Edwards is able to produce acclaimed wines with a sense of place using gentle, traditional winemaking practices.

Merry’s wines are available direct from the winery and in fine restaurants throughout the United States.  Merry Edwards was voted #1 Most Popular Pinot Noir in the 2009 Wine & Spirits Restaurant Poll for the fourth year out of the past five.  Her 2007 Sauvignon Blanc was rated the Top Wine in the 2009 Wine Spectator California Tasting Report for this varietal.

Nestled amid Coopersmith Vineyard, tastings educate visitors about Merry’s handcrafted wines and site-specific viticulture. Come join us!
