Martorana Family Winery
The hidden gem of Dry Creek Valley, Martorana Family Winery, organically grows and produces wine and extra virgin olive oil. Wine varietals include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rosé of Zinfandel, Zinfandel, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah and a unique Red Blend Mozzafiato. Martorana makes small lot crafted wines and Olio Di Gio Olive Oil, with an average of 2,000 cases annually that are sold exclusively through the wine club and tasting room.
The grapes and olives have been grown at the Dry Creek Valley estate for more than three decades. Father and son team, Tony and Gio Martorana, currently farm over 30 acres of organic grapes, and over 350 organic olive trees in this appellation.
Gio started producing estate grown extra virgin olive oil in 1997 which changed the focus of Martorana from farming to production. The first grape harvest was in 2005 bringing organic farming ideas and old school wine making techniques together to create amazing vintages. Martorana Family Winery first welcomed visitors to the underground tasting room and wine making facility in 2005. With sustainability in mind, they built into the rolling hills of Dry Creek Valley, inviting guests to get a real behind the scenes view of what a family owned, and operated winery truly is.
With the edge of Dry Creek is only 100 feet from the estate, Martorana encourages guests to sip extraordinary wines, taste the Olio Di Gio, play a game of bocce, stroll the living roof, enjoy a lunch on the picnic grounds, or lounge with a bottle Creekside.
