Mill Creek Vineyards is a family-owned winery located a mile outside of Healdsburg in the beautiful Dry Creek Valley. Our wines are handcrafted with care and reflect the unique character of our estate and the region’s terroir. With a focus on exceptional experiences, sustainable farming practices, and minimal intervention in the winemaking process, we produce high-quality wines that are both approachable and complex. We invite you to visit our tasting room and experience the beauty and old world charm of Mill Creek Vineyards for yourself.

Porter Creek Vineyards

A bottle of Pinot and a wine stopper in the foreground and a vineyard, trees and picnic table in the background

The Winestopper had the pleasure of driving along beautiful Westside Road into the Russian River Valley to stop at Porter Creek Vineyards. Meeting with Jonathan, he chose the lovely 2019 Fiona Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir to be featured as our Wine of the Week as it is their flagship wine! Be sure to come by for a tasting and bring some home yourself, it’s drinkable now and for the next 7 years for this vintage (it’s been out for a year).

When asked, Jonathan said he would pair this with lamb and mushroom risotto, however given the Winestopper’s aversion to cooking, it was enjoyed with some Cowgirl Creamery Pierce Point cheese, an *excellent* pairing!

Thanks so much for the map. Heading down to Sonoma County for time along the Wine Road is our favorite get-away. Wineries are great, scenery is stunning. Perfecto!

We love to escape winter in Chicago and head to Sonoma County. We discover new wineries and make new friends. It seems we always start planning our next trip when we're on our way home!

Bob R. Chicago

Because of the podcasts that you and Marcy conduct, I am planning a trip to stay in Sonoma. Your descriptions and sense of fun make a slightly longer drive meaningful. Keep up the good work.
