Hello to all of our Winery Members –

It’s that time of year, map editing time – whoo hoo!

Along with the edits you submit, we are making one other change to the map.

In an effort to better serve our membership we will be featuring our “By Appointment Only” wineries with a new shape icon and color on the next rendition of our Wine Road map.

With almost 15% of our membership being “By Appointment Only” this will help our guests to differentiate these wineries from ones that are open to the public daily. This should make it easier for our Sonoma County tasting room, hospitality and lodging teams to make recommendations on where to go and who to call first when they are sending their guests in your direction.

 

Winery and lodging contact and amenity information will still be listed on the back of the map. Our hope is that these new symbols will serve as a reminder to the 300,000+ guests that use our maps each year to make appointments where needed.

 

If you have any changes you need to make to your map information, please email it to beth@wineroad.com by Dec. 15th. We cannot make changes based on a phone conversation, please put any changes in writing. Be sure to use a current GREEN COVER map to check your information, sending edits from an older version is…confusing to say the least.
