June 24th at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland Ohio
A GRAND TASTING experience, 6:30-9:30pm.
An opportunity to showcase your wines and our region to consumers from throughout Ohio.

This will be our biggest “on the road”event in years!
We have partnered with Ohio Wines for this event.
No only it is an opportunity to showcase YOUR wines, it is a first for two wine regions to work in partnership to showcase wines side by side. Wine writers are already inquiring about it. Wine Road will be brining press to the event, for added coverage.
Ohio wineries are submitting their wines to be judged in order to be showcased at this event.
Wine Road is reimbursing our members $250 to attend and help us collectively tell our Sonoma County story.
We NEED a minimum of 20 wineries to attend and pour. It would be ideal to have 30. We are taking over the entire Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This event will be fun, great exposure to new customers and an opportunity for you to take orders, sign up wine club members, add to your mailing list. While you are in town, we will help you connect with a distributor if you are so inclined, the Ohio Wines folks are willing and able to make those connections for you. When we have 20 confirmed wineries we will be able to set aside a block of rooms at the Westin.
There will be wine, food, seminars, and of course music.
Our goal is to have 50 press/trade and 200 general public.
The silent auction during the event will benefit our Wine Road Family Fire Fund.

Below is the information the Ohio Wineries received about the event:
Ohio Wine Producers and the Sonoma Wine Road are planning a gala event at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on June 24 ……. to feature the best of Sonoma and fine Ohio grown viniferas and ice wines at a spectacular venue.
Why: because sometimes our wines ‘don’t get no respect’ from the wine consuming elites. This will be our chance to have our wines intermingled with Sonoma vintages with stellar reputations and poured for consumers, media and the trade. In addition to the wineries, they are working on trying to bring a couple of major national wine press to Cleveland and covering all of their costs.
How: So that we proudly showcase wines that are on a par with world class Sonomas, if your Ohio grown viniferas and/or ice wines have won the OQW designation or has a gold or silver medal in a nationally acclaimed competition, they will be eligible. If you have great wines, but do not enter compeitions, a 5 star panel group of 3 judges will evaluate your wines based on a 20 point scale. 15 points or more will make you eligible. Each winery may bring up to 5 wines.
What: An evening long event, an auction to benefit the families burned out by the Sonoma fires, educational seminars, great food, live music …. and our wineries jointly hosting [and wowing] the public, trade and media.
