Hello to all of our Wine Road lodging members –

We would like to invite you to join us for a Wine Road member “Meet & Greet” on Wednesday, May 15th.

All of our lodging members will have the opportunity to host a small table to set up their rack cards, photos of their property, any special offers you want to share, and then meet and connect with our winery members. Think of it as a mini trade show.

This is an opportunity to partner with wineries, create offers for their wine club members, arrange for wineries to pour for your guests and to simply meet winery folks that may not be familiar with your property.

We’d also love to see our lodgings participate in Wine & Food Affair in November. At the recent lodging meeting is was suggested that lodgings may want to partner with a winery to offer an intimate winemaker dinner for their guests, or invite a winemaker to join your guests for breakfast on Friday, Saturday or Sunday morning. Then you could create a “package” for the event weekend, including tickets and this “guest only” perk. You may be able to connect with a winery on May 15th to talk about these options/ideas.

You just never know what ideas may present themselves.

Timeline –
10:30 lodging arrive and set up their display table
11:00 wineries arrive to meet and mingle
11:30 buffet lunch
12:30 garden tour for those interested
1:00 time to head back to work…

Kendall-Jackson Estate & Garden will be our host this year, and they will be providing lunch and wine.

We expect a total of 80 people.

As of today we have 42 winery RSVP and 1 lodging.

We will provide a sign for each lodging that RSVPs, and confirms they will want a display table.
