Looking for a personable, dynamic, and knowledgeable Tasting Room Associate/ Bartender to join our family-owned boutique winery located in Santa Rosa. We specialize in small-batch, artisan-quality wines and provide a memorable experience for our guests from start to finish. Primary responsibilities include ensuring guests and wine club members have a great time, educating patrons on our wines, and answering any questions. You’ll also work on private events and have shifts where you work alone in the winery, so qualities that support success with those responsibilities are required. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation of wine/industry knowledge, with a passion to know more. This is a part-time position, with the primary work days being weekends. However, due to the nature of event schedules and winery tasks, flexibility for availability is required. Employment will begin around mid April. Qualifications: • Knowledge of wines and passion to learn more. • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. • Organizational, creative and analytical skills. • Professional and self-motivated. • Reliable with a goal driven personality. • High attention to details and ability to multitask Requirements: • At least 21 years of age • Reliable ! • Dependable transportation • Work successfully with little oversight as well as with others • Flexibility in scheduling, weekend availability is a must • Personable and friendly • Groomed appearance • Must be able to lift and carry a case of wine (about 40 pounds)
