To all Wine Road member wineries –
As part of Sonoma County’s 1st ever Outdoor Adventure Month (MAY) we’d like to collect some fun ideas for winery visitors to do.
Do you offer a vineyard tour?
Do you have a garden to stroll through (garden or veggies)?
Do you offer outdoor tasting on your patio?
Remember – this offer needs to be good during MAY. It can be only on weekends, or Saturday only or every Tuesday in May – whatever works for your situation.
What else do you think works for an OUTDOOR Adventure MONTH promotion?

Please send us details by March 31st, so we can get a blog post written and help SoCoTourism promote this new program.

Make sure you are sending all detail to Tourism as well. Their instructions are at the bottom of this email…How To Submit Your Offer.

Regards,
Beth

May 2018 has been designated as Sonoma County’s first ever Outdoors Month. This will be a wonderful way to introduce potential visitors to what Sonoma County has to offer – namely, your business.

We will be featuring special offers on our website and the promotion will be supported with online marketing, blogs, itineraries, and social media posts.

Presented by Sonoma County Tourism and the Sonoma County Economic Development Board, Outdoor Adventure Month will be a reminder to breathe deep: More than 60 regional and state parks beckon visitors and locals alike to hike through oak-studded hills, zip-line through redwood trees, paddle along the coast, discover California history, or just sit down and enjoy the sounds of nature.

What we need from you

Submit your special offer. (Must be valid through May 31, 2018. Submission information is below). Offer examples include two-for-one experience tickets, free equipment rentals, a free sports water bottle, or others. Make sure your offer entices an outdoors enthusiast to book with you.
Once May rolls around, encourage your guests to post their experiences on Instagram or Twitter and tag with #SonomaCounty or #SonomaOutdoors.
Enjoy introducing people to your corner of Sonoma County by providing them with the best experience possible.
