Sponsor A Barrel
As our 40th anniversary approaches we’ve created a variety of programs to celebrate, one of which is our ART of OAK.
We’ve invited 40 local artists to create ART with a used wine barrel. Once completed these 40 barrels will be on display at wineries along the Wine Road from February 10th to May 10th. At our gala “Ruby Affair” on May 14th, the barrels will be auctioned off.
Some barrels will also be on display at the Sonoma County Vintners tasting tent in the Super Bowl City, for 8 days leading up to the big game! They are allowing us 20 barrels for display – this will generate fantastic exposure for the sponsors, the artists and our 40th Anniversary.
Currently we are seeking sponsors for each barrel for $500. As a sponsor your name or your business name will be incorporated onto the barrel ART with a plaque. If you ALSO want to buy the barrel ART once it’s complete you may purchase in advance for an additional $500. Barrels not sold in advance will be auctioned.
We managed to round up 40 enthusiastic artists in large part to our members who recommended artists friends and colleagues.
We have 10 more barrels available for sponsorship.
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE FINAL SALE OF THE BARREL WILL BE DONATED TO THE Wells Fargo Center for the Arts’ Education Through The Arts programs.
