Monthly Recap – July 2015

JULY 15, 2015
We hosted our annual dinner/meeting. Trione Winery graciously hosted the affair and the setting was beautiful. With over 150 members present, our Board of Directors shared plans for 2016 and our 40th Ruby Anniversary. We decorated with banners proclaiming our achievements from the past 12 months.

We’re A Membership Association
We mailed the assessments in time to arrive July 1st and they are now due. Keeping track of those is a job in itself. There are always so many changes to the contact info, checks arrive with no paperwork, paperwork arrives with no check. Lot-O-Lists around here as we strive to keep it all straight!

Our 40th Anniversary
A good portion of the month was devoted to organizing and kicking off the plans we have for our 40th.
Soliciting sponsorships – which entailed creating B2B and B2C packages and In-Kind options.
Art of Oak – the barrel donations began to arrive, so we were busting a move to connect with artists via the Sebastopol Center for the Arts.
Sign-Up forms – were mailed to our members and also distributed at the annual meeting. Don’t miss the boat!

A Wine & Food Affair
We collected more recipes than ever, 110…WOW!
We completed two event maps; Google and the customizable Mondo map.
We created the online program and the ticket order page on Eventbrite.
The list of participants will go online this week and the printed material is…at the printer!
We’ll mail postcards and posters to you in about three weeks (before Labor Day Weekend).

July was also vacation time for Debbie & Beth and Anne’s last day was July 17 – she’s moving to Paris. Onward and upward – August here we come, we’re on the Road to Ruby.
