Weekly Member Memo – Nov. 10, 2015
Are YOU OPEN on THANKSGIVING? We only need to know about Nov. 26th – Thanksgiving Day.
We assume if you are normally open on Friday and Saturday, that you will be open on the 27 & 28.
This is my list thus far: deLorimier, Dutton-Goldfield, Paul Mathew, Porter Creek, Sunce, Windsor Vineyards. I will wrap this up on Friday, so please don’t wait and tell me next week.

Wine & Food Affair
We wrapped up the weekend with nearly 350 more tickets sold via our will call system. This week, please return your left-over supplies and accounting sheet. You have until Dec. 7th to submit your receipts for reimbursement.
Certified Tourism Ambassadors (CTA)
We thought it was a good time to remind our members that Wine Road will reimburse each winery or lodging up to $100 a year to become a CTA or to renew your certifications. Just pay for the class and send us your registration receipt. Class into here: Tourism Ambassador

Winter WINEland
Tickets went on sale TODAY. The list of participating wineries has been posted to our website. Wineries have until December 1st to go back in and add their program information. Use your email confirmation from Eventbrite to log back onto your page. Reimbursement is up to $500 toward, food, supplies, decorations, rentals. The REQUIRED pre-event meeting will be Jan.6th, location to be determined. Check-in 8:30am, meeting 9:00am.

For the 4th Annual North Coast Wine Industry Expo Trade Show & Conference (WIN Expo) held on December 3rd at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Wine Road members register online at www.wineindustryexpo.com and use promo code WROAD2015 to receive FREE access to the trade show floor. The WIN Expo (@WINexpo) will offer attendees access to nearly 300 of the industry’s best suppliers and service professionals showcasing their latest products & services and a full day of valuable networking opportunities.
Wine Road’s 40th Anniversary
There are still plenty of opportunities for you to be a part of our 40th Anniversary celebrations in 2016.
We need more auction items for the Ruby Affair in May, we need more wineries to pour at the community festival in July…wineries to have a “selfie frame” out for customers to use and wineries to hide items for the scavenger hunt in August. Come on – Join the fun! Download the sign up form here

Music Licensing
Wine America is working to help build a case for more transparency as far as which organizations represent which artists, more exemptions – such as your cellar or office space. Potentially smaller fees for the service. Please complete the Wine America Survey on music licensing.
