Wine Road - Paws 4 Wine

To all Wine Road wineries –

On June 23rd we are partnering with Canine Companions for Independence, to help them spread the word about their program, what they provide, who they provide dogs for, the types of volunteers they need and how people can be involved and help. We’re calling it Wine Road’s Paws 4 Wine.

I’d encourage you to read through their website. So many people are in need of this assistance, Canine Companions for Independence provides a true life support. There are numerous ways to be involved.

This is NOT an event. We are simply going to compile of list of wineries that are interested in donating some portion of their sales, for that one day to Canine Companions for Independence. Your winery would be listed in our press release and in our social media promotion for “Wine Road’s Paws 4 Wine”.

Our hope is to have 20-30 wineries offer some sort of donation to Canine Companions from wine sales that one day – be it $1 per tasting fee, a % from their total sales that day, or a % from one particular wine they designate for the day.

Collectively this will be a nice donation for Canine Companions, but BETTER YET it will give us a platform to inform your visitors about Canine Companions. They will also have 5-6 puppy trainers available to be at some of the wineries for a few hours that day. Everyone loves to see a puppy.

We will post on our home page, add to our event calendar and share on LocalWineEvents.com and other sites.
We will share on social and send out a press release.

Canine Companions will also be sharing the Wine Road’s Paws 4 Wine detailed program with their thousands of supporters. Any winery that will commit to making a $500 donation will have their logo added to the Canine Companions fundraiser page, which will be up by mid-May and be live through September.

DEADLINE to submit an offer is May 1st. We want plenty of time to promote it.

After June 23rd, please write a check for you total donation PAYABLE TO: Canine Companions for Independence, MAIL TO Wine Road, PO Box 46, Healdsburg 95448. We would like to be able to add them all up and show how much was raised collectively. This is important as we will follow up with a press release giving credit to all of our members who participated and their guests who helped raise X amount of money.
