60 years ago, in 1962, Ridge made its first Monte Bello, and two years later, its first zinfandel. Since this time, Ridge has championed single-vineyard winemaking, searching California for those rare vineyards where climate, soil, and varietal are ideally matched. Lytton Springs, in Sonoma County, became part of the Ridge estate in 1991. A quarter century’s experience with this vineyard had convinced us that it was an exceptional piece of ground. At Lytton Springs, Ridge has built a sustainable winery, made of compacted rice straw bales. The walls covering the bales are made from a simple mixture of clay from the vineyard, sand, and straw. The Lytton Springs tasting room looks out on the old vines to the south, and into the barrel room to the east.

Zinfandel accounts for most of the production; cabernet sauvignon, syrah, grenache, carignane and chardonnay constitute the balance.

Located just north of the town of Healdsburg. Take Highway 101 to Lytton Springs Road, proceed west 1/2 mile to Chiquita Road. The winery is on the left at the corner.

We offer our Lytton Springs Estate tasting daily, for $20 per person. Dog are welcome, on leash. No one under 21 years of age, including infants.

For over 90 Years, the Saini Family has been farming grapes in Sonoma County’s Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys. Their vineyards are some of the most highly regarded in all of California and Old Vine Zinfandel is their specialty!

The tasting room is nestled in the vineyards, overlooking the Saini Family’s 260 acres of vines in the Dry Creek Valley. We offer a variety of estate grown wines, ranging from Sauvignon Blanc to Zinfandel. Our tasting room features beautiful exposed wood beams, a historic brick room and a chandelier that flaunts over 16,000 Swarovski crystals. You can enjoy your tasting seated in our cozy brick room, standing at the bar or at one of our outdoor picnic tables

If you are searching for a new discovery, make sure to visit our small, family owned and operated winery nestled in the heart of the Dry Creek Valley Appellation. Translated from the Italian word for tractor, “Trattore” felt like the suitable name for the land where my passions combine – on 40 acres of steep rolling hillsides in Dry Creek Valley, planted in vineyards and olive trees. This ranch is a tribute to my appreciation for the craftsmanship and enduring tradition of an iconic old red tractor that I brought over from Europe and is seen both on our wine label and working among the vines on our property today. It’s also where our commitment to rich farming traditions in the vineyard and attention to detail in the cellar come together to produce our collection of wines and olive oils.

More than that, Trattore offers a “sense of place” where we look forward to sharing with guests who want to slow down and enjoy the stunning views of Dry Creek Valley over a glass of wine. Perhaps we can even interest you in a vineyard and orchard tour… from a tractor’s point of view.

Welcome to our tasting room just a few feet from our vineyards where you can sit and enjoy the view.  We are open from 11am to 4pm Thursday thru Monday, and Saturdays 11am to 5pm. We offer a self-guided vineyard tour complete with fun facts about our year amongst the vines. Tasting and vineyard tours can be arranged for large and private groups by appointment. Cheese pairings also available by appointment.

West Wines is a small winery run by Bengt Akerlind and Katarina Bonde. We produce wines from our own vineyards located in Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County, California. Our winemaking is inspired by French traditions of crispness and complexity combined with the fruity and rich flavors of grapes grown on Californian soil. We offer big complex Cabernet Sauvignon, well rounded Bordeaux style red blends and Italian and Argentinian inspired blends, Blanc de Blancs, Chardonnay, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc can be found as well as a sumptuous dessert wine. Our specialty is our vintage library collection of mature Cabernet Sauvignon which only gets better with age. At least two years barrel aging and 5 years of bottle aging is the recipe.

The grapes for our wines come from our sustainably farmed vineyards that are hand harvested and meticulously sorted to ensure the highest quality.

Our team consists of people who have been farming and making wine in the valley for decades, coming to know the soil and the grapes very well.

Wilson Winery is a small, family-owned and operated winery. We are located in one of the oldest bonded wineries in Sonoma County, being built in 1910. We specialize in award winning red wines. Our beautiful deck overlooks a spectacular view of the Dry Creek Valley.

Our goal is to raise enough money to meet the demands of all deserving applicants and to build the endowment fund for a legacy of ongoing success. We believe that the children of those who work the vineyards of Sonoma County should not be limited in their pursuit of educational opportunities by financial constraints.
