The winery was founded by Merry Edwards in 1997 with the guiding principle that “Great Wines Are Grown,” and it has long been known for its terroir-driven, single-vineyard Pinot Noirs, including the winery flagship Meredith Estate. The winery also makes a variety of appellation wines, with Pinot Noirs from Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast and Anderson Valley, as well as a world-famous Sauvignon Blanc and luscious single-vineyard Chardonnay from the Olivet Lane Vineyard.
Since Merry’s retirement in 2019, this California Certified Sustainable Winery has been led by Merry’s handpicked successor, Heidi von der Mehden, who continues in the tradition that came before her, crafting masterful wines of depth and elegance.
