A pioneer in the Russian River Valley wine region, winemaker Gary Farrell released his first fifty cases of 1982 Rochioli-Allen Pinot Noir in 1985 to widespread critical acclaim. For over 25 years, Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery has crafted small-lot artisan wines that capture the impeccable balance and stylistic elegance of some of the finest vineyard sites in the region.  Noted cool-climate winemaker Theresa Heredia now presides over the winemaking program. She continues the hallmark style of Gary Farrell wines, meticulously handcrafting each lot to capture the innate elegance and layered complexity of each vineyard.

Open daily for tasting from 10:30-4:30.  Daily Tasting of limited production vineyard designates is $15. Tours available 10:30 am by appointment. Seasonal Fireside and Terrace Tastings available. Private Tasting & Events by appointment. Complimentary Daily Tastings to our Grand Crew club members.

Details: Celebrate Harvest 2013 with us and enjoy great food, excellent company and the breathtaking Russian River Valley scenery. This special evening at the winery will feature delicious hors d'oeuvres and a four-course dinner from a local chef, carefully paired with Gary Farrell Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Winemaker Theresa Heredia will discuss the growing season, upcoming harvest and featured wines, and we'll also hear from our Chef to describe the evening's menu and local ingredients.

Details: Join Gary Farrell Winery, Thomas George Estates, VML, Hop Kiln, Mill Creek, and Alderbrook for the 1st Annual Battle of the Grill competition! Each winery will be teaming up with a local chef to create a one-of-a-kind food and wine pairing straight from the grill. Event goers will travel from winery to winery as they “Wander the Westside” sampling each pairing and then text their vote for their favorite. Voting enters guests to win a wine country prize!
