Our unique property encompasses about 700 acres.  The 215 acre vineyard is full of unique microclimates which allow us to grow a wide range of grape varieties.  We produce about 1200 cases of hand crafted wine and provide fruit to about 35 other small production wineries in the Sonoma/Napa areas.

We offer private vineyard tours with picnic lunch and wine tasting by appointment.  We are open to the public 18 days a year, including all Wine Road events. VIP tours are available on other dates by appointment.

VIP Tours and Tastings
Experience the evolution of our wines from grapes to glass.  Your customized VIP tour on our 700 acre private Estate will take you through the Russian River and Chalk Hill appellations. Our integrated approach to winegrowing allows our wines to reflect the beauty of our Estate.  Included in your tour is a drive through "Forever Wild", Windsor Oaks own 350 acre nature preserve. Here you may be lucky to meet our neighbors, the wild turkeys, Canadian Honkers, deer, or even a bobcat.

Terroir Tour and Tasting
Your tour begins in our winery with the history of Windsor Oaks.  You will learn how the maritime influence, valley floors, and hillsides create an optimal environment for growing our grapes.  Next you will sample wines from our barrels, as you begin the process from grapes to glass.  From here, you will be driven up the hill and through the valleys as you experience our unique terroir.  The tour includes tastings of our current, handcrafted wines that we select for you. Unique to the wine country, customize your tour to include private time to enjoy your wine, company, and mountain vistas.

The VIP tour and tasting is $50 per person with a two person minimum.

Terroir Tour and Luncheon
Experience the history of Windsor Oaks Winery from the original homestead site, to the ancient vines once producing wines for the White House.  You will then enjoy barrel samples from our handcrafted and award winning wines prior to you tour through our Estate.  Following your excursion though our unique terroir, relax and enjoy our panoramic views as you enjoy a gourmet customized lunch, uniquely paired with Windsor Oaks wines.

Price determined based on lunch request, two person minimum.

2007 Estate Malbec (12/15/2008)

Another jewel from our mountain vineyards. A richly layered, plush red which pairs beautifully with winter's hot, savory foods. 2007 Estate Malbec (100%). Bright, focused fruit and amazing layers of spice. Plush texture and long finish.  It displays the brightness of fruit, complexity, structure and balance that are reflective of its vineyard block #35 home on our estate.  Only 170 cases made.
