Preston of Dry Creek
Preston of Dry Creek is an organic winery and farm nestled in the confluence of Dry Creek and its salmon-spawning tributary, Peña. Driven by flavor, history and tradition, the Preston family produces wines and foodstuffs reminiscent of its Italian forebears: hearty Mediterranean-spirited wines, olive oil, seasonal tree fruit, vegetables, olives, pickles and hearth-baked bread. The 125 acre farm is a quilt of diversity including vineyards, orchards, row crops, pasture, hedgerows, woodlots, and wildlands; the farmstead nurtures sheep, chickens, pigs and goats.
Wine offerings include their iconic Zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc, red and white Rhone-style blends, Barbera, and several unique expressions of the terroir. A classic country jug wine is offered on Sundays.
The farm store, winery tasting room and picnic grounds are open to the public daily from 11:00 to 4:30. A wine tasting fee is refundable with purchase. Please no buses or groups over 8.
