Taft Street Winery
The term “garagistes” originated in Bordeaux in the 1980’s and referred to a group of innovative winemakers who produced exceptional wines in their garages rather than in grand chateaux. Since 1979, we have carried on the garagistes tradition of innovation and excellence in a chateau alternative locale.
Taft Street Winery continues in the garagistes traditions to this day, producing limited production, handcrafted wines from select Sonoma County vineyards.
Our goals have not changed. We make great wine; make it available at a fair price; and most of all, have fun in the process.

New Wine Releases2014 Rose of Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley (Feb 20, 2015)
This 2014 Rosé of Pinot Noir is refreshingly crisp with bright Bing cherry and strawberry; the bouquet perfumed with rose petal. Hints of berry jam and peach pair well with the wineís lively acidity. This vintage shows real Pinot Noir elegance, yet lends itself nicely to casual entertaining. While perfect for warm summer nights, we find ourselves sipping this house favorite all year long. Be sure to serve slightly chilled.
