Dutton-Goldfield Winery began in a vineyard in 1998, when longtime colleagues and friends Steve Dutton and Dan Goldfield recognized a shared vision between them--to craft wines that express the personalities of their vineyards, and which they'd enjoy drinking at their own dinner tables. Our mission is to produce world-class wines that display the brightness of fruit, complexity, structure and balance that are reflective of our cool coastal home.

2006 Sanchietti Vineyard Pinot Noir (12/08/2008)
The hallmark of Sanchietti for us is its enthralling combination of grace and power, and the 2006 offering certainly exemplifies this. In the nose, it leads with high-toned blackberry and blueberry fruit, violets, and a hint of black tea. In the mouth, bright berry and black cherry shine through along with concentrated, finely structured tannins and ginger spice. Production: 422 cases.
