Ramazzotti Wines

The WineStopper traveled up to downtown Geyserville and vistied Ramazzotti Wines. Meeting with family members Norma and Travis, they are showcasing their Estate 2019 Sangiovese. Since being released, the wine intantly became a customer favorite. Chances are that it will sell out soon! Visit the tasting room or purchase online.

UPDATE 11/25/2022

The 2019 Sangiovese is SOLD OUT.  However, the 2020 Sangiovese is available and is just as wonderful!

Here is what is in the bottle!

Appellation Dry Creek Valley
Vineyard(s) Ramazzotti Home Ranch
Varietal Sangiovese
Vintage 2020
Blend 100%
Fermentation Grapes hand-selected, crushed and de-stemmed, then racked to stainless steel tanks where the juice is chilled and inoculated with Syrah yeast to consume more sugar. Our use of this yeast brings out a truer flavor from the Sangiovese grapes.
Elevage Aged 18 months in 10% new Appalachian, 90% used French and American
Wine Notes This wine has a fresh nose and offers lilac and cherries up front, giving way to mouthwatering fruit, a subtle spiciness, and vanilla tones on the finish. Its firm acidity and bright flavors make it a perfect match to lighter marinara, pasta primavera or a beautiful sausage dish.
Price $48.00

Thanks so much for the map. Heading down to Sonoma County for time along the Wine Road is our favorite get-away. Wineries are great, scenery is stunning. Perfecto!

We love to escape winter in Chicago and head to Sonoma County. We discover new wineries and make new friends. It seems we always start planning our next trip when we're on our way home!

Bob R. Chicago

Because of the podcasts that you and Marcy conduct, I am planning a trip to stay in Sonoma. Your descriptions and sense of fun make a slightly longer drive meaningful. Keep up the good work.
