Tasting Room Associate/Event Bartender - D'Argenzio Winery
Looking for a personable, dynamic, and knowledgeable Tasting Room Associate/ Bartender to join our family-owned boutique winery located in Santa Rosa. We specialize in small-batch, artisan-quality wines and provide a memorable experience for our guests from start to finish. Primary responsibilities include ensuring guests and wine club members have a great time, educating patrons on our wines, and answering any questions. You'll also work on private events and have shifts where you work alone in the winery, so qualities that support success with those responsibilities are required. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation of wine/industry knowledge, with a passion to know more. This is a part-time position, with the primary work days being weekends. However, due to the nature of event schedules and winery tasks, flexibility for availability is required. Employment will begin around mid April. Qualifications: • Knowledge of wines and passion to learn more. • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. • Organizational, creative and analytical skills. • Professional and self-motivated. • Reliable with a goal driven personality. • High attention to details and ability to multitask Requirements: • At least 21 years of age • Reliable ! • Dependable transportation • Work successfully with little oversight as well as with others • Flexibility in scheduling, weekend availability is a must • Personable and friendly • Groomed appearance • Must be able to lift and carry a case of wine (about 40 pounds)
Wages: $18/Hour + tips (tasting room) ; $25/hour events

DTC Marketing Manager - Dutton-Goldfield Winery
Dutton-Goldfield winery is a partnership of grapegrower Steve Dutton and winemaker Dan Goldfield, focusing on limited production bottlings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay primarily from the Russian River Valley. We are a growing, fast-paced winery that believes in working hard and playing hard, and if anything is worth doing, it’s worth doing all in. We are seeking a dynamic, driven, enthusiastic, and experienced DTC Marketing Manager to build our brand and grow our Direct to Consumer business. You must be passionate about wine and building relationships, results driven, smart and outgoing, and love and excel at the creative and people side of the business equally. You also thrive on juggling multiple and varied responsibilities, and love wearing the many hats and jumping in wherever needed as is always the case at a small winery. Full-time position, weekends and holidays included, and travel.

Roles & Responsibilities: Duties include: • Build brand, customer relationships and loyalty through primarily the “other” DTC channel beyond tasting room and wine club, including emails, social media, outside events, phone sales, and other programs. • Plan, design and write compelling email campaigns that brings the brand to life, build relationships and deliver results. • Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TripAdvisor, Google, Yelp, etc.) posting relevant, compelling, educational and fun items in a timely manner, in the company voice, with the goal of customer interaction, acquisition, and brand building through positive reviews and communications. • Create videos for social media, email, and website. • Update website and keep content current and fresh. • Write and design newsletters, marketing pieces, and wine fact sheets. • Connect with members and customers outside of our area, creating and executing programs and sales opportunities that build relationships and garner new members and customers. • Work with our tasting room manager to set strategies to achieve our tasting room profit, customer acquisition, wine club membership conversion, and visitor data collection goals. • Maintain current partnership network while proactively expanding our referral partnerships with new potential partners. • Research, recommend and participate in off-site special events and industry meetings and events to network, increase tasting room traffic, drive customers to the web site and build wine club membership. • Oversee or assist in planning, production, promotion and logistics of events, including wine club pick up parties, tasting room promotions, area-wide events, local group events, and other outside pourings. • Manage annual Marketing Calendar and programs, ensuring all deliverables are produced on time and in budget. Qualifications: • Deep experience and a proven track record in all channels of direct to consumer. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. You are a storyteller, love to write, and write compelling, authentic, and fresh copy that conveys our personality and story. You are equally confident and comfortable speaking to a large group as you are to a wide variety of individuals one-on-one. You have a broad background and connect easily with people. • Marketing and design experience, creating printed and digital collateral. • Skilled in social media marketing that drives results. • Passionate about wine and our part of the world. Strong knowledge of wine is a plus, but a keen desire to learn and the get-up-and-go to expand your knowledge counts just as much. • Self-motivated go-getter and able to work with little guidance, but also love working collaboratively with a team. • Project and people management experience, and a natural leader who leads by example. • Computer savvy on a range of programs, including POS systems. • Must be at least 21, have a valid CA driver’s license, be able to lift 50 pounds, to sit or stand for extended periods, and all the usual things you’d expect.
