Roles & Responsibilities: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned: 5 days a week during busy season, 3-5 days during off season. Greet all visitors that enter the tasting room. Create a memorable and fun experience for the guests. Describe the wines and the history of the winery, answer any questions that the guests have about the wines and/or winery history. Handle routine daily opening and closing responsibilities for the tasting room. Sales transactions, which will include operating GrapeGears POS. Meet daily sales and Wine Club Membership goals. Assist with display, stocking and re-stocking of wines and other merchandise. Assist with hospitality and special events as needed. Represent the winery at outside functions as needed. Perform other duties that will be assigned by manager.

Work hours: 5 days a week during busy season, 3-5 days during off season. WEEKENDS included.

White Oak Vineyards & Winery, located in the heart of the scenic Alexander Valley, is seeking a creative, organized and enthusiastic sales leader to manage all aspects of our wine club and marketing program. Candidate will work closely with our Director of Retail & Hospitality to further develop our wine club sales and marketing for the winery while managing shipping and inventory logistics. Tasting Room Manager - Dutton-Goldfield Winery

Dutton-Goldfield Winery is an ultra-Premium, small production family-owned winery focused on pinot noir, chardonnay, and other cool climate varieties that express the beauty of our coastal home. The Tasting Room Manager is responsible for the overall profitability of this channel of our DTC business, and will be a key player in taking our business to the next level. Our ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, engaging and self-motivated, with solid sales and marketing experience, and results-driven, with strength in proactively creating and analyzing reports to ensure all staff are motivated to reach goals, and the tasting room is profitable. This is a sales driven position, so the successful candidate will be highly incentivized for exceeding goals. Marketing and driving traffic to the tasting room are key parts to ensure profitability. The manager will work closely with the DTC manager to create compelling events and promotions, connect with local partners and help ensure guest reservations, service and experiences are of the highest level.
