Tasting Room Associate - Harvest Moon Estate & Winery
The Harvest Moon Tasting Room Associate is responsible for efficiently and effectively promoting the sale of wine and non-wine products through excellent sales and customer service skills while providing customers with a unique and personalized wine tasting experience. Must be enthusiastic, articulate, and motivated with a passion for wine and working with the public.

Roles & Responsibilities: • Greet all visitors, pour wines for tasting, discuss wine and respond to customer questions. • Ensure that every visitor enjoys their experience and leaves with a very high impression of our wines. • Is knowledgeable about wines, winemaking techniques, winery history, and unique aspects of wines. • Effectively promote and sell wine and Wine Club memberships. • Handle routine purchasing transactions, including operating POS system. • Attend to inventory in tasting room and on site. • Help with all shipping needs. • Participate and assist with company events and activities. • Wash and polish glassware. • Assist with display and pricing of retail items and wines. • Represent winery at outside functions as required. • Other duties as assigned

Hospitality Manager - Blue Rock Vineyard

Our Hospitality Manager position is hands-on, working with by appointment guests in a private, one-on-one luxury environment, 85%+ of the time. We need a great storyteller to share our passion. Roles & Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage a variety of Hospitality related tasks in a private, one-on-one guest-centric luxury environment. • Provide guests a personalized, extraordinary, intimate one-of-a-kind experience centered on wine, food, fun, and education. • Set up and tear down of guest experiences as needed, including pairings, lunches and estate cottage stays. • Ensure that reservations are accurately recorded and managed. • Schedule hosted property experiences. • Ensure the Estate property achieves business goals regarding consumer visitation, club conversion, sales, guest experiences, and brand promotion. • Set and maintain hospitality standards in keeping with company brand goals and expectations. • In conjunction with Director, establish and manage DTC operating budget. • Supervise the daily activities of on-call or event staff, including approval of timecard and commissions. • Evaluate Sales performance to targets and communicate to Director on regular basis. • Develop SOP’s and Best Practices protocols to be used for training and reference. • Perform physical inventory of all items and reconcile to the tracking system. • Maintain timely input of guest notes information into list database. • Responsible for appearance and cleanliness of tasting areas, restrooms, parking lot, gardens and surroundings. • Maintain culinary component of food-pairing experiences. • Continuously assess, create, and evolve hospitality offerings, including wine tasting mix, tours, brand messaging, and exclusive private experiences. • Ensures compliance to all applicable regulations. • Develop and maintain an active referral network system with peer wineries, transportation companies and accommodation properties. • Collaborate with key internal team members and strategic partners on all details of both on-site and off-site events. • Ensure active promotion of Wine Club offerings and benefits. • Develop an exclusive wine buying experience for each customer by understanding and confidently articulating the individuality of the wines in each offering. • Timely input of all shipping orders with follow through on the shipment by phone, and/or email to third party shipping providers. • Build and maintain long-term guest relationships. GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Education/Experience: • Minimum two years’ experience in luxury product retail management. • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent in experience preferred. • Exceptional hospitality and interpersonal skills. • Thorough and professional oral and written communication skills. • Excellent business development, and event management skills. • A positive, enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills, dynamic personality and superior customer service acumen. • Self-confidence, comfortable around all guest types and with an ability to build relationships, ask for the sale. • Able to empathize with and recognize a guest’s interests and buying signals. • Consistently able to maintain enthusiasm and project a positive image. • Ability to host guests and produce results with minimal supervision. • Excellent organization, problem solving, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills required. • Proficiency with the full MS Office Suite is necessary. • Previous experience with a CRM database system preferred. Physical: • Ability and desire to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Capacity to sit or work on feet for at least 8 hours per day. • Ability to lift, move and stack 40 pounds. • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid US driver’s license. Work hours: The position is full-time with weekend work mandatory, as well as occasional evenings for events.
