Tasting Room Host - D'Argenzio Winery

Position Summary: D’Argenzio Winery is currently hiring for a part-time Tasting Room Rockstar whom can execute daily tasting rooms tasks and provide our guests with excellent customer service. Qualifications: - Friday-Sunday availability, with periodic shifts on other days of week. - Passion for wine a plus! - Hospitable with excellent communication skills – verbal and written. - Organizational, presentational and analytical skills. - Professional and self-motivated. - Sales experience. - Reliable and timely. - High attention to detail and ability to multi-task. - Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to carry a case of wine, about 40 pounds, on a daily basis.

Wages: $13 per hour + Commission + Tips

Roles & Responsibilities: Potential candidate will be working with day to day operations including but not limited to: - Sell wine and wine club memberships and meet monthly goals. - Preparing and hosting public and private events. - Overseeing logistical day to day operations including inventory, stocking, deliveries, opening and closing register, and everyday housekeeping of tasting room, kitchen, and whole winery. - Keep relations with wine club members and recruit new members. - Open, work, and close the tasting room from beginning to end. - Periodic Outreach – relations with nearby hotels, tourist center, wineries, etc. - Prepare donation requests. - Assuring all Tasting Room supplies are ordered and stocked. Experience with the following items is a PLUS: VinNow and VingDirect Regular Tasting Room Hours: $13 per hour + Commission + Tips. Periodic Private Events: $20/hour. Tasting Room Associate - Family Wineries

We are a family owned winery in the Dry Creek Valley, looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, wine-knowledgeable and customer service focused. The ideal candidate will be passionate about wine and excel at both the hospitality and sales aspect of the position. This is a part-time position 3-4 days per week, weekends are required.

Accounting Manager - Hook & Ladder Winery

The Accounting Manager is an experienced accounting professional with thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, with a strong emphasis on the wine industry and winery practices. This is a full-time, salaried position with a set weekday schedule. Benefits included medical, dental, vision, life, 401k, vacation, sick, holiday, and employee discounts. Accounting and Finance • Complete Month End Close using AMS and Excel. • Coordinate annual budget process with department managers and upload final budget into AMS. • Periodic cash flow forecasts. • Cross train on all modules for AR, AP, and Payroll. • Day to day management of all accounting functions, which includes GL, fixed assets, AR and AP. • Act as backup for bi-weekly payroll processing. • Preparation and posting of Journal Entries as needed. • Print and mail weekly AP payments. • Analyze and email monthly Sales Reports for all brokers. • Manage grape contract schedules and reconcile actual tons and dollars by grower to contracted and budgeted amounts. • Various accounting and financial related duties as they occur. Human Resources • Handle all employee initial worker’s comp claims and all follow-up paperwork. • Ensure OSHA compliance and safety procedures are met. • Ensure employment posters are kept up to date. • Keep track of all employee personnel files and make sure they are kept up to date. • Create employee files for new full-time and part-time employees. Other duties include, but are not limited to • Answer incoming phone calls and redirect accordingly. • Attend seminars and webinars as necessary to keep current with laws and regulations. Qualification Requirements • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or relevant experience required. • Have a minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the wine industry. • Proficiency with MS Office and expertise in Excel required. • Knowledge of Advanced Management Systems (AMS) and QuickBooks desired.
