Vitners Resort

A multi-tiered water fountain in the foreground surrounded by brick pathways, green grass, flower gardens, scattered trees and chairs with side tables between them. In the background is large Mediterranean looking building covered with vines.

Experience Sonoma’s first luxury resort on a working vineyard. Embraced by a 92-acre estate, Vintners Resort is an intimate hideaway set amidst redwood trees, colorful gardens, and fountain courtyards. Connect to the land at John Ash & Co., one of Sonoma’s first farm-to-table restaurants, overlooking a vineyard. Relax in our spa, take a dip in the outdoor heated plunge pool, or play a game of bocce ball. Just 60 miles north of San Francisco, Vintners Resort is the gateway to the Russian River Valley and all of Sonoma County’s famed wineries and culinary destinations. Your Vintners escape comes to life with heartfelt service from our long-tenured team, dedicated to creating treasured moments in every stay.

DaVero Farms & Winery

Bottle of DaVero Pallagrello Bianco next to a Wine Road Winestopper on a table under an arbor with vineyards in the background

The Winestopper met with Elizabeth at DaVero Farms & Winery, where she  shared their Estate-grown 2nd vintage of the *first* Pallagrello Bianco grown in the United States. Truly a special bottle – it’s rich and aromatic, but also soft and fruity… an absolute treat. We highly recommend that you sip some while at the farms, strolling through the gardens, and even make a visit to their piggies! If you’re not local, don’t fret, the link to buy is below.

Thanks so much for the map. Heading down to Sonoma County for time along the Wine Road is our favorite get-away. Wineries are great, scenery is stunning. Perfecto!

We love to escape winter in Chicago and head to Sonoma County. We discover new wineries and make new friends. It seems we always start planning our next trip when we're on our way home!

Bob R. Chicago

Because of the podcasts that you and Marcy conduct, I am planning a trip to stay in Sonoma. Your descriptions and sense of fun make a slightly longer drive meaningful. Keep up the good work.
