Robert Young Estate Vineyards is one of the only places in the US where the Melon de Bourgogne grape is planted, and has been crafted into two different expressions of the grape by Matt Michael, winemaker at RYEW and Kara Groom, winemaker at Rara Wine Co. Meet and mingle with the winemakers as they explain the origin of this rare grape and their different winemaking approaches for this highly aromatic, dry white wine with crisp minerality that make it a perfect pairing for oysters.
