Proprietor Jim Rickards has been growing grapes on these steep hillsides since 1976 and we’ll be celebrating our 10th anniversary of making wine this year! Come take a peek into our refreshingly cool wine cave and get up close and personal with our 1908 Old Vine Zinfandel block. “Passion, not pretense” is a motto we live by. Sunce, established in 1991, is located just off of River Road on Olivet Road in the heart of the Russian River Valley. A small untra-premuim winery producing small lots of rare varietals, vineyard designates and classic blends. Quality is preferred over quantity; each release is limited, sometimes to 200 cases or less and many are pre-sold through barrel futures.
