Quality through sacrifice is our priority at Mounts Family Winery. For over 65 years and three generations, we have carefully and passionately farmed our 140 acre ranch in Dry Creek Valley. In 2005, love for our vineyards opened the door to creating intense complex wines, hand-crafted from our Estate. We welcome you to join us down in the cellar, below the 100 year old barn, for a tasting you will never forget. Our small, family-owned winery is open by appointment Monday – Friday and open most Saturday’s from 12 – 4. Please call or email us to schedule a truly unique and exciting wine tasting experience.

Great wine has to be about place, which is achieved only if the bottled wine reflects where the grapes were grown. At Peterson Winery we practice the philosophy of Zero Manipulation. Our definition of Zero Manipulation is using the most gentle winemaking techniques possible to maximize flavors, aromatics and the original essence of the wine. The less you do in the course of a wine’s tenure in the cellar, the more of that essence you’ll have to bottle. My goal is that every vintage captures that sense of place.

Our small, intimate tasting room is open exclusively by appointment from 10am-3pm, 7 days a week. Tasting is $10 per person, refundable with wine purchase. Wine Club members receive complimentary tasting for themselves and up to five of their guests with them.

Due to current restrictions, large groups of more than cannot be accommodated together all at one time. For parties of 7-10 people, we will have to have you break into smaller groups.  Tasting consists of five current release wines which can be tailored to preference. Sunce, established in 1991, is located just off of River Road on Olivet Road in the heart of the Russian River Valley. A small untra-premuim winery producing small lots of rare varietals, vineyard designates and classic blends. Quality is preferred over quantity; each release is limited, sometimes to 200 cases or less and many are pre-sold through barrel futures.
