Hello to all of our winery & lodging members –
We are looking to create incentive “packages” targeting bay area folks to come up, do some wine tasting and spend the night.
Our goal is to highlight wineries, restaurants and lodgings by region, that offer deals on Thursday and or Friday.
If there is enough interest to move forward with this program we will confirm your participation, this is now just a
“fact finding mission” to see if there is interest.
Our initial thought is that this would run mid July through August – with the option to extend if there is interest.
WINERIES
Would you be willing to offer FREE wine tastings, on either Thursday or Friday, and you can specify with or without a reservation?
Yes = we would offer FREE wine tasting on Thursday (please indicate – with or without reservation)
Yes = we would offer FREE wine tasting on Friday (please indicate – with or without reservation)
NO = we would not be interested
LODGINGS
Would you be willing to offer a discounted room rate, or a 2nd night 1/2 off, or some other discount as part of these regional packages?
YES = we would offer …. fill in the blank, let me know your offer.
NO = we are not interested at this time.
Ideally we will have 6-8 wineries, 2-3 restaurants and 1-2 lodging properties in each area:
Healdsburg, Windsor, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, Geyserville, Guerneville – this is the starting point.
If we can create these bundles, we will work with the area Chambers to help promote this as well.
We will run social, and some bay area paid advertising.
There is nothing we are selling, we would simply create a list of “weekend warmup” offers and list the properties and offers by area:
Healdsburg:
