2016 Russian River Valley Le Premier

A melodic balance of only our best lots of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir matched with our extensive fine aging process brings Korbel Le Premier to life. Gentle whole cluster pressing of the grapes ensures the capture of delicate fruit flavors and aromas. After the primary yeast fermentation, a portion of the wines undergo a secondary malolactic fermentation, which adds a layer of buttery flavor sensation. Extended aging in the bottle during tirage contributes to the final layer of flavor complexity, and adds roundness, creaminess, and nuttiness to the palate.
