Kindred – of a similar character or nature. The Italian immigrants who planted the old vine field-blend vineyards of the Alexander Valley in the late 1800’s selected kindred varietals as the base components. We pay homage to them with our blend of 68% Zinfandel, 18% Petite 5irah, and 14% Carignane. Prominent flavors of ripe berry and dark plum lead into a robust finish of sweet oak and earthy spice.
