2022 Reserve Old Vine Zinfandel, Brignole Vineyard – Alexander Valley Estate – Gold, 92 pts.

Alexander Valley is known for its rich, spicy zinfandel. Our Old Vine Zin was originally planted by the Brignole Family in 1908 and it is our original estate block of vines. Treated with tender loving care, this vineyard continues to produce gorgeous fruit that is complex with deep blackberry cobbler and gingerbread spice flavors – a true reflection of Alexander Valley terroir! This very limited production, barrel-selected reserve Zinfandel is quite approachable now and will continue to develop a huge, juicy finish over the next two to four years.
