Meeting called to order: 9am
Meeting Minutes from October 8, 2025. Minutes approved (Harry / Lana)
Treasurer’s Report: checking $37,967.49 + approx. $120,000 to be deposited from WFA this week. Savings $50,433.33 Certificate of Deposit $52,597.81
Membership updates: Current: 110 members
Executive Board Meeting – Friday – Dec. 5, 2025 – 9am – Location: TBD – this will be our 2026 budget meeting
Events:
Wine & Food Affair – Robust discussion regarding survey results, reimbursement, and food shortages. Julie will compose a letter from the Board commending participating wineries for promoting the event (social media tips will be offered) and gently reminding the importance of having sufficient food for the entire event (5 ran out). Penalty for not meeting the SM benchmark will not be enforced.
Holiday Wine Trail and Market: Saturday December 6 – 11am-4pm. $50 per ticket. The Board voted to donate $25 per ticket to REFB. (Danny / Lana).
Winter Wineland – 260 tix sold. Local only discount will not be offered. Early bird $10 off. WR will continue to encourage SM promotion by participating wineries.
Sip into the Weekend – So far the number of wineries willing to extend offer of comp tasting Thursday/Friday is 8. Dates January 22, 2026-November 20, 2026.
Barrel Tasting – Katie will host a live tutorial on how to promote wine sales for Barrel Tasting participants. Janae will lead the seminar. Ticket prices set: $50 weekend, $10 DD. Board voted (Janae / Aaron). The $10 DD fee will be donated to REFB. Goal: 3,000 tickets. Last year: 1,500. Ticket price is a rollback to reflect 50 year anniversary.
Wine Road Turns 50: Beth will reach out for subcommittee. Hoping member wineries will step up: Janae, Katie, Helen have offered.
Auction: 15 items – launch November 18. Close December 14 – 4pm PST.
Vignetto – New landing site for wineries to promote their event calendars. Beth will forward to all members with details.
50th Anniversary – Have member wineries meet at Plaza for group photo.
