October 8, 2025

Meeting called to order: 8:59am

Meeting Minutes from September 10, 2025.   Minutes approved (Mari / Lana)

Treasurer’s Report: checking $68,462.48. Current balance: $4,685.98 Savings: $50,433.33 – additionally we have $50,000+ in a CD which matures on Dec. 5^th – we can roll over.

Membership updates: 30 wineries yet to renew. Deadline November 1. Beth will provide a list for Board members to contact and encourage renewal. Option: a spot on the WR map with their location for $300. Banshee joined representing Foley Family.

Events:

Wine Trail – September 13, 2025 – Sold: 155. Next: December 6, 2025 – Holiday Sip and Shop

Wine & Food Affair – November 1-2, 2025 – Sales down 20%. General agreement that it’s too late to offer local discount. Katie suggested as a sidebar that Board reach out to participating wineries to help with marketing. All present agreed. Katie will take lead. Beth will arrange for onsite sales at select wineries and sales the day of via QR code.

Winter Wineland – Robust discussion about moving date to February. General agreement it is too late for this year. Tabled for 2027 event. Suggestion to add a ‘late start’ ticket price for 2pm-4pm. Board approved Beth’s schedule for sales launch and ad campaign. ‘Locals only’ discount offered for $15 off ticket prices – either or both days.

Sip into the Weekend – 30 wineries agreed to extend offer to Friday – November 21.

Sponsorships: Visit Santa Rosa – maybe. Pure Lux – NO (but discounts). Wine Away – NO but gifts. Healdsburg Tourism ($7k grant).

Wine Road Turns 50: – Foppiano Friday November 6, 2025, 7pm-10pm. $95 or $195 with W&FA weekend. Music, cocktail attire. Silent auction: 7 homes donated so far.

New Business: Season Pass for 5 Wine Trails – off the table. NO.

Catchy name for WR 50 auction, pricing and goals.

Winter Wineland – marketing approach to circumvent dry January.
