Meet & Greet
It was great to see so many members last week at our annual “meet and greet”. I’d like to extend a HUGE Thank You to the team at Rodney Strong Vineyards who hosted our event. What a beautiful setting and the staff made sure every detail was taken care of. Thank you to all of the lodgings that brought such a bounty of fantastic desserts – what a treat! A special note of thanks to Mark Mathewson and Pauline Block from Rodney Strong who made it so easy for us to organize the event this year.
Let’s Party…or It’s Time For Our Annual Meeting
Who would like to host our Annual Membership Meeting? We need a space that can host a dinner for 120-130 people. Wine Road pays for rentals, food, decor etc – we just need the space. We are looking at July 15 from 5:30-8:30pm.
A Wine & Food Affair ~ Nov. 7-8
Yesterday we mailed (in the real mail) the sign-up details. You will submit your recipes online June 1-July 15. Now is the time to start thinking about what you’ll want to prepare and serve.
Board of Supervisors Petition
We are about to submit our petition to the Board of Sups, asking they not increase the Temporary Food Facilities permit fee, which is required for our annual events. We currently have 130 signatures, it would be great if we could push that closer to 200 by Friday. We are also sending in a letter to the Health Department with 18 signatures.
