This weeks notice is sponsored by:

Are you OPEN on Easter Sunday, March 31? If yes, please email us Easter Hours.

No other information is needed. This list will be posted on our website, sent to lodgings and visitor centers. Reply my March 8th.

We hope to have some LODGING SPECIALS added to our website, before our newsletter goes out next Thursday. Offer can be good anytime through this summer. Mid-week, packages, incentives – be creative.
More great press from Alison Balin, for Green Living Magazine. She included the following Wine Road members: The Ruse, Kendall-Jackson, J Vineyards, Capo Creek, Williamson Wines, Jeff Cohn, Longboard and Pezzi King. Read Article Here
Details and Registration
We have lined up three great classes with the WISE Academy, so you can get your “team” ready for the season!

  • Building Your Wine Club
  • Raising the Bar ~ Great Sales Training
  • Generate Revenue Beyond the Tasting Room

WR Members $25 per class

Non Members $50 per class

Each class is limited to 40.

There are about 10 left per class.

We’d love to see 50 or more wineries participate in our seasonal Wine Trails.

These are a great opportunity for visitors to explore along the Wine Road, in a very cost effect way, ideally visiting wineries they may not be familiar with.

To participate you need to welcome ticket holders, who will be walk-in tasters on May 11th.

Wineries need to provide 2-3 wines for each ticket holder to sample – and that is it. You can of course offer more.

We will have a detailed program online, listing the wines to be poured and any other offer you want to extend. 1 day, 11:00-4:00

DEADLINE to sign-up is March 22.

Ticket so on sale April 4

Tickets are $50 per person

Please click HERE and write a short review for us on Google.

It only takes a minute, but it will make a BIG difference.

We are working hard to drive more traffic to our website, which will get more eyes on YOUR events, our lists (Walk-Ins, Groups of 8 or More, Sparkling Producers…etc).

Do YOU have one of these pins?

Got It ~ Flaunt It

We really want to see some photos in our social feeds of Ambassadors wearing their pin.

Tag @thewineroad so we see it.

Go Team Go

We have over 160 Ambassadors.

They are from across the country.

See the list HERE

You should join the group.

It’s fun, it’s easy AND you will learn

a thing or two about Wine Road

and Sonoma County.

You could make it a part of your “new hire” training.

The MORE you know, the better you can serve your guests.

Barrel Tasting – it was a struggle to get those last sales, but Debbie kept the ticket link open until Friday at 9:00pm.

This took us from 1600 sales on Monday (when we would have ended sales) to almost 1800 on Friday night.

We’d rather not do that again!

Supplies – please return left-over glasses, wristbands AND your big envelope.

If we are not in, just leave things in the map box, outside of our door. We are generally here Mon-Fri 10-4.

Next week we will get a survey out to all of the wineries to see what your thoughts are, about Barrel Tasting, going forward. We need a plan.

It’s time to get out and connect with your neighbors and peers.

Learn about the wines they produce, and the tasting experiences they offer. Share referral cards – help each other out.

Use our Wine Road Networking doc to sign up to POUR or to TASTE.

I see we currently have Pedroncelli Winery signed-up to host…
