What is eat taste sleep repeat? It’s the recipe for the perfect adventure along the Wine Road.

Every seasoned wine taster knows that a hearty breakfast is a prerequisite for a day of wine tasting. Along the Wine Road, there are plenty of charming bed & breakfast inns that include a delicious meal before you head off for a day of exploring and tasting. Plus, you want a wonderful place to stay and a comfy bed after a long day of relaxing and enjoying Wine Country.

Eat – Breakfast of Champions

When researching this blog, I found myself salivating over the photos and recipes. Here are some highlights, but there are many, many more great meals and recipes awaiting you.

The Raford Inn’s Potato-Cheese Pie caught my eye, and when I made it for weekend guests, they raved about my culinary skills. If you enjoy this while staying at the Raford Inn, you’ll also experience the beauty of the inn and its surroundings. Plus, the location is perfect for exploring the Russian River Valley.

Baked Brie, Tomato and Zucchini Strata, complements of the Camellia Inn in Healdsburg, gives a nice balance of vegetables with the rich flavors of Brie. So yummy, and can be made up to 24 hours in advance; so great to pop in the oven for overnight guests without having to get up too early.z

Kathleen Kelley Young shares several of her recipes on their website, and loves talking with guests about cooking, gardening, and recipes. There are many excellent options for lodgings along the Wine Road. Although this blog focused on Bed & Breakfast lodgings and their delicious breakfasts, you can also find excellent hotels with restaurants adjacent to them or as part of the same property, like The Geyserville Inn, Vintners Inn, Dry Creek Inn, H2Hotel, and many more.
