Hello to all of our winery and lodging members –
On behalf of the Wine Road Board of Directors, I’m pleased to share an important update with you.
We are excited to announce that Katie Ambrosi has been named the new Executive Director of Wine Road and will officially step into the role on June 1.
Katie brings more than two decades of experience in wine industry marketing, events, and direct-to-consumer strategy, including over 10 years leading marketing efforts for Wilson Artisan Wines across 12 winery brands and multiple lodging properties. Many of you already know Katie through her work in the region, her time on the Wine Road Board, and her deep involvement in the local wine community.
As we close out Beth Costa’s remarkable 26-year tenure, we do so with deep gratitude for everything she has built. At the same time, we are moving forward with a clear plan, strong leadership, and continued focus on supporting our members and promoting Northern Sonoma County as a premier wine country destination.
Katie understands our mission, our members, and the challenges and opportunities ahead. She is stepping into this role at an important time for Wine Road, as we celebrate our 50th anniversary and look ahead to key programs and events, including the Grand Tasting in September and Wine & Food Affair in November.
We are confident in Katie’s ability to lead Wine Road into this next phase and to build on the strong foundation that has been established over the past five decades.
Please join us in welcoming Katie to this role. We look forward to the work ahead and to continuing to support each of you and your businesses.
More to come soon.
Warmly,
Julie Pedroncelli St. John
Board President, Wine Road
