Wine Road is adding a new (small) event to our summer calendar.
Details below:
It’s a go! Saturday July 8th / 11:00-4:00 / $50 per personWineries need to pour a minimum of 2 wines per ticket holder, “summer wines” – think White, Rosé and Sparkling (obviously every winery needs to pour what works for them).Sign-up online via Eventbrite HERE and list the 2 wines you are pouring, for our online program.We will also create a Google map, to the participating wineries.We’re keeping it simple – no wristbands, glasses or RSVP lists – the guest will simply have to show their ticket (on their phone) at each winery they visit. These will be “walk-in tasters”.Deadline to sign-up is May 15th – Tickets on sales May 19thOur goal is to sell 100 tickets – some of you may see 6 people, or 20 or some may not see any ticket holders. We will let you know every week how many tickets have sold.
We assume this will be most attractive to locals, who will be thrilled with the $50 price tag, to visit some wineries as walk-in tasters.
That being said, we will be promoting it in our next big consumer email blast (50,000 subscribers) on June 1st. so if you want to dream up a “Summer Wine Trail” offer, be sure to add it to our website by then end of May in the Lodging Specials section.
We will also add the link to Lodging Specials on the Eventbrite Ticket page (Tickets go on sale May 19th).
