2019 Chardonnay, Chalone Vineyard

92 Points! Beautiful waffle cone and apricot notes preview the refreshing palate of peaches and pears with soil derived minerality, giving this Chardonnay a slight dusty and flinty texture. Chalone Vineyard is located on the west-side of Pinnacles National Park, about 60 miles east of the Pacific Ocean in Monterey County. The vineyard was originally planted in the 1900s our block was planted in 1960.
