Jim Rickards originally planted Malbec on our estate as a crucial component in our Bordeaux-style blend. It has thrived on our steep hillsides and has become renowned as a stand-alone varietal in our red wine program due to its round yet expansive texture and concentrated fruit flavors. This barrel-select bottling represents the absolute best of our Estate Malbec. The top lots are kept separate and stored in our wine cave for an extended 22 month aging period. This elegant Malbec boasts a bouquet of ripe blackberry and cocoa leading directly to luscious flavors of summer pie filling and cassis. 150 cases produced.
