Treasurer’s Report: checking $2,020. Savings:: $70,403.25
Membership updates: Slower than usual for renewals.
Events:
Wine Trail – NEXT: September 13, 2025 – Harvest Theme. 50 wineries. 20 tics sold so far.
Wine & Food Affair – November 1-2, 2025 – Beth is working on a lodging package for VIP. Wine Ambassadors will be offered a $20 discount in exchange for social posts. Limit 2 tickets.
Winter Wineland – sign up in October, launch sales November 6
Manhattan Beach Wine Festival – Beth is checking to see about pouring WR member wines.
Sip into the Weekend – 30 wineries. 20 so far have agreed to extend offer to Friday – November 21.
Map Project: Beth and team canvassed the entire WR area to deliver maps. Positive feedback. Also available at 9 locations throughout Windsor and greater Healdsburg area..
Wine Road Turns 50: Logo is pending. Host a gala event the night before W&FA. (Halloween). Offer a party mask with purchase. Sell tickets. Possible locations: Bricoleur, Trentadue, Coyote Sonoma.
New Business:
WID – Lengthy discussion. Wine Road will not weigh in at this time.
Action items:
Beth will be seeking sponsorships from various Sonoma County businesses.
Beth will check out Costco Travel for partnership with WR as destination.
Beth will seek out shipping compliance expert to meet with anti-Amazon shipper.
Beth announced Ron Rubin will be an $18k sponsor for the podcast. He also pointed out that Wine Road started with 65 wineries and currently has 120. Sounds like a success to him.
