NEW WineRoad.com
We launched a brand spanking new website in April! This is the 5th new site for Wine Road – we have managed to launch an entirely new site every three years. Although we still have a couple of small issues on our end, with the management of the site, this was by far our easiest launch ever! We’re excited about the new look.

Improved Ticket Sales
In April we signed on the dotted line to continue working with Eventbrite for our ticket sales. They have upgraded their system to incorporate several items we needed to make it easier for our guests to order tickets online. We will also be moving our “Ticket to the Wine Road” over from the current ticketing system to Eventbrite. They will be a fantastic partner for Wine Road.

$1 per ticket…it adds up!
We were able to write a check to the Redwood Empire Food Bank for $20,000.  This is $1 per ticket from WINEland, Barrel Tasting and our DD ticket sales from Barrel Tasting.

Wine Road has now donated approx. $350,000 over the past 8 years.

Wine Tourism Day
We began selling tickets April 1st. Our Weekend Sherpa editorial ran April 16 and our ad in Weekend Sherpa ran April 23, our full-page SF Chron ad ran April 26. We had 25,000 customized Wine Road maps inserted in the new SONOMA Magazine and we have been sharing tons of info via our social media sites. We’ll know next month if we achieved our goals with this event. Go EXPLORE May 9th!
