Hello to all of our winery members –
I’d love to see more of you take advantage of this opportunity to get some people into your tasting room in December.
Holiday Wine Trail & Market
December 7th
$40 per person / $10 of which will be donated to the Redwood Empire Food Bank
December is SLOW in the tasting room – a little “holiday market” is a simple hook to get some people out tasting.
They can taste and buy wine for their own holiday needs, for gifts AND they can check out your gift items for their shopping list.
Our Wine Trail will sell 100-150 tickets – not 1000 tickets – you may see 2-4 more people, or 10-12 people, not so many you need to staff up.
Most of you HAVE things to sell in your tasting room – we’re asking you to just highlight one or two “items” as your “Holiday Market” item….we’ll send you a little PDF sign you can print out and display next to your “item”.
If you don’t have gifts in your tasting room, does your neighbor knit hats, does your cousin make jewelry, does your friend make cutting boards…
If possible it makes sense to promote something that is locally made, or custom made for your winery – but that is NOT necessary.
We want to keep our members top of mind with wine buyers and a simple promotion like this helps. It gives wine lovers another reason to get out to your tasting rooms.
If you sign-up, you can send me a photo of your item (ideally with some greenery behind it, or some holiday decor), and we’ll create a photo collage of the creative, beautiful, fun, interesting…things people may find out along the Wine Road if they join us for this Holiday Wine Trail.
If you want to sign-up, here is the link: Holiday Wine Trail & Market
Deadline is Nov. 7th
Thanks,
Beth
