Hello to all of our winery members –
This just came my way this morning, so I’m passing it along, but the due date is MONDAY by noon.
This is the ask:
Doing a story on the BEST BLENDS across California for both print and online outlets across AZ and CA.
If you have one, here is what I need by Monday at 12pm.
To submit, send a new email with the subject line: Perfect Blend
In the email provide the following:
Exact Name of Wine
Exact blend (meaning 40% cab franc, 10% merlot, 40% malbec, 10% viognier)
Tell me what that wine looks like, tastes like, and any reasoning behind the blend. Is there a story of how it came to be? Does the winemaker do this blend always? Give me a little info.
$COST of the wine
**Ideally need a HORIZONTAL lifestyle shot of the wine but will take anything HI RES that you have. Please do not send bottle shots. Lifestyle shots only, please.
Example of how to submit – SEE BELOW. SUPER EASY AND FAST.
2022 Jordan Zinger
Featuring 40% cab franc, 10% merlot, 40% malbec, and 10% viognier, winemaker John Smith developed this blend after visiting France and falling in love with the spirula style of winemaking. Earth and robust, it looks like a ruby slipper in a glass and tastes of rose petals, raspberries, and freshly crushed rosemary. The blend changes slightly each year based on the best of the harvest.
