Wine & Food Affair – time to sign-up

Beth Costa on Jul 20, 2023

Hello to all of our winery members –

The sign-up for Wine & Food Affair has begun…whoo hoo!
This is the link you need to sign up, via Eventbrite:  Wine & Food Affair
The deadline to sign up is July 28th
Event details below…
Wine & Food Affair – Nov. 4-5, 2023
We’re excited to get the ball rolling for this event.
Sign-up began earlier this week.
NEW this year….
We’d love to make the weekend BIGGER and better than ever, so we need to offer MORE.
This year Wine Road will promote “additional” events that you may want to host leading up to the event; Friday evening, Saturday morning, maybe even something small on Thursday evening or Thursday afternoon.
Think: winemaker dinners, or a Happy Hour, breakfast either at a winery or a lodging property.
You can limit the size to what works at your property.
For $50, Wine Road will add your event to the Wine & Food Affair event page and include details and links in our Event Emails to our consumer list of 50,000 subscribers.
You do not have to participate in the event weekend in order to host a small event, connected to the weekend.
Ideally this will make for a fuller event weekend and bring people to town a day earlier.
This year you will need to list your recipe name when you sign up,
then you will need to add your complete recipe by October.
Last year we had an overwhelming request for recipes after the event,
so, we want to get ahead of that and have them online, prior to the event.
July 10-28       Sign-up will be via Eventbrite – including the name of the Recipe You Are Serving
August 1          List of Participating Wineries & Recipe Name will be online for guests
August 25        Deadline to submit details about your Additional Events
August 31        Ticket sales will launch  (August 30th for Insider members)
October 1        Deadline to add your full recipe to our online data base.
October 30      Sales End
The Board of Directors approved a food reimbursement of $1000 for this event, with receipts.
