2020 Malbec, Zanzi Curve Vines – Alexander Valley Estate – Gold, 93 points

Malbec is one of the five “sisters” of the Bordeaux region of France. Somewhat a step-sister, it is typically blended with Cabernet Sauvignon to both soften and enhance the bouquet of the finished wine. Bottled alone, the bouquet is intensified and complemented by velvety texture and soft tannins.. We find our Malbec to be a complex. elegant wine that is a versatile accompaniment to a wide variety of savory fare.
