40th Anniversary Celebration

Beth to find date for Healdsburg plaza – Judy can do July 23, Aug 6, July 16 (in that order)
New event to schedule –
“member party” to really disclose all the details for 2016, rally the troops to get involved and to help promote each activity. Tentatively December
Nessia to reach out to restaurants
Need list of restaurants with our member wines, who may possibly create the Wine Road flights.
Beth to do –
Create list of assets we can sell for sponsorships
Ask members for restaurant lists
Contact City of Healdsburg
Tour location for “gala” – need to book a location before it’s too late
Contact members for “donations” for major sponsor packages
Meet with REFB to coordinate how the raffle will work (maybe Marissa could help)
Ideas discussed
For gala – sell “tables” to businesses – table of 8 = $2000 (should there be a savings?)
HELP – Need some sort of hook, not just celebrity chefs and award winning wines.
Where are we going to advertise, who is our target audience?
Reception with bubbles – Rack & Riddle to sponsor? Many members use them.
Art Barrels – timeline and details
Get barrels donated from wineries by Aug/Sept
Sell barrels to sponsors $1000 each Oct/Nov/Dec
Barrels on display by Barrel Tasting Weekend March
Have photos online by March 1 – online auction / include “buy now”
Display during event with “buy now” price on each
Those that didn’t sell will be on display at “gala” for set price or ??
Pay artists $250 stipend

Cork Art – have tent and pre-school teachers helping (for donation?)

Live music – winery band or jam session
Wine Tasting and Food Samples in tented area (food and wine with tickets)

- Our printed member newsletter (2 of them) will have every sponsor logo included
- Our monthly CONSUMER newsletter will feature three sponsors each month reaching 50,000 subscribers.
