Meeting called to order: 9:42am
Meeting Minutes from February 12, 2025. Minutes approved (Oded / Aaron)
Treasurer’s Report: checking: $76,016.76 / savings: $102,383.65 / CD: $55,000
Barrel Weekend: 1,550 tickets sold. $111,946 sales – yet to be received. Did not meet goal
Events:
Wine Trail – NEXT: May 10, 2025
Website: Launching March 12 – Beth will review and correct as needed.
New printed map: Arrival – March 20(ish). Suggestion to post fliers or set up weekend kiosks with QR code directing to hardcopy map locations. Post at cafes, Starbucks, etc.. Also store pallets at various wineries throughout WR AVAs.
LOCALS Only – Is it working? Beth needs feedback for effectiveness of paid ads. Try outreach – Wine Country Moms, Salad Lab, etc. ?
Walkins Welcome Campaign – Holding off for new Board to address.
Board Elections – 4 openings – 9 applicants. Ask candidates that are unelected to serve on marketing committee. Beth will ask Danny to remain as a lodging representative for another year. Beth will see if Emily would like to serve on the marketing committee and step down from the Board. Or step away altogether.
Member Party – tentative: moved to Friday – May 9 – 5pm-7pm – Coyote Sonoma – Informational passport circuit, inspirational speaker, apps, live music.
Old business: discussion- Give participating wineries 2 free tickets when they meet benchmarks for promoting the event. No final decision. Invite Heart of Kenwood to join WR – tabled for new Board to consider.
New Business: Concierge Association – Beth is formulating a plan.
Office space: No longer exists.
One minute capsule video included in Weekly Memo – successfully launched. Will rotate among wineries.
